TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Monday announced the bust of a prostitution club featuring Chinese women in Arakawa Ward, reports TBS News (Dec. 2).
Officers arrested the 28-year-old manager of Moe Moe Hima, located near JR Nippori Station, and a female employee, 35, for violating the Anti-Prostitution Law.
On November 19, the club dispatched a 48-year-old Chinese prostitute for an illicit encounter with a 68-year-old male office worker.
Both suspects have reportedly denied the allegations. “To say that I work at a ‘prostitution club’ is wrong,” the employee is quoted by police.
The club places advertisements in evening tabloid newspapers and on the Internet to recruit customers for love hotels near the station.
Over the last six months, Moe Moe Hima has collected 27 million yen in revenue.
