OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested have arrested persons affiliated with a notorious recruiter for the sex trade over the illegal recruitment of a woman to star in the adult video (AV) industry, reports the Asahi Shimbun (Feb. 27).

In July of last year, a 21-year-old scout from the Kizuna group solicited the woman, 24, in the Minami entertainment district of Osaka to star in AV productions.

The scout and a 31-year-old employee of DIX Enterprise, an affiliate AV company of Kizuna, were prosecuted on Monday under the Employment Security Law for solicitation for harmful business.

The woman was subsequently dispatched by DIX Enterprise to AV production company Krone, whose headquarters is located in Tokyo’s Meguro Ward, to appear in 15 films over a three-month period.

Police have also arrested the 32-year-old president of Krone for violating the Temporary Staffing Services Law. The president denies the allegations, saying the woman “worked independently. She was not an employee of our company.”

The appearance fee for each film was 350,000 yen, of which 100,000 yen went to both DIX Enterprise and Krone with the remainder being earmarked for the woman.

The matter came to light after Kizuna was busted in October for deceiving women into working in the commercial sex industry in Kansai.
