MIE (TR) – At around 11:00 p.m. on November 24, 1998, journalist Noriko Tsujide, then 24, left the Ise City office of publisher employing her at the time. She never made it home.
Mie Prefectural Police are continuing their investigation, believing that she was involved in a crime. Her parents, the police and others are continuing to seek information from the publich, reports NHK (Nov. 24).
On Sunday, which marked 26 years since Tsujide went missing, about 30 people, including her parents and police officers, gathered at a shopping center in Ise to hand out flyers with her photo in an effort to call for information in the case.
According to the police, 105 pieces of information have been received on the case, but no useful clues have been obtained.
“It’s been 26 years and I’m getting weaker, but I’ll keep praying for my daughter to return,” said Tsujide’s father, Yasuharu.
Her mother, Michiyo, said, “No matter how small it may be, I would appreciate any information you can provide.”
