TOKYO (TR) – A woman in her 30s has revealed her double life: by day, a home helper for the disabled, and by night, the operator of a specialized “delivery health” (call girl) service aiming to satisfy the suppressed sexual needs of handicapped individuals.
Operating under the pseudonym “Hana,” the woman launched the nationwide outcall sex service Love Sketto in 2021. Her foray into the adult entertainment industry was sparked by a shocking realization about the taboo surrounding disabled sexuality.
Hana’s turning point came after watching a television documentary detailing “sex assistance” for the handicapped.
“There was no conversation or smiles. They wore gloves and did it mechanically, like a chore,” she recalls to Nikkan Spa! (Sep. 5). “The scene was so intense I couldn’t get it out of my head.”
When Hana later asked a severely disabled client how he handled his sexual urges, his reply stunned her. “I just have to endure it,” he told her.
“Good and bad people”
Determined to provide genuine intimacy rather than cold, clinical relief, Hana took a bold step into the sex industry to learn the business. Despite initial fears that the industry would be run by underworld figures, she began working as a driver for a delivery health service before eventually working as a call girl herself in a standard brothel.
“There were good people and bad people, and I experienced a lot of good and painful things. I learned firsthand that if cast members don’t choose their working environment and clients carefully, they will break down,” she says.
Armed with insider knowledge, she opened Love Sketto. Today, the service employs 12 cast members, specifically recruiting women who hold qualifications as nurses and care workers or have welfare experience. This medical background is critical, as a disabled client’s physical condition can deteriorate suddenly during sexual intercourse, placing immense pressure on the women.
High hurdles
Hana customizes the service for each client through careful preliminary meetings. In one instance, a client with an immobilized neck wanted to see what was being done to him. Hana solved the issue by setting up two smartphones on a video call so he could watch the act live.
However, operating the business comes with high hurdles. Because many disabled individuals live with their families, gaining consent to use a sex service is incredibly difficult.
Despite the societal taboos and lack of understanding, Hana remains dedicated to her cause. She recalled one particularly moving request from an elderly client, “C,” who booked the service right before being permanently hospitalized.
“He contacted us saying it would be his first and last time using such a service,” Hana says. “He told me, ‘Once I enter the hospital, I can never go back home, so thank you so much.’ When he said that, from the bottom of my heart, I was glad I opened this shop.”
