TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Thursday arrested an organizer of a group sex party for charging guests to have sex with prostitutes, including an underage girl, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Dec. 4).

On April 4 of last year, Yuji Fukumoto, a 47-year-old dance instructor, held an orgy party for 30 male guests that featured up to four female prostitutes at a hotel in Shinjuku Ward.

Fukumoto, who has been charged with violating the Anti-Prostitution Law, says that he does not clearly recall anything from over a year ago.

One of the prostitutes was a 17-year-old girl. Police have also arrested another organizer of the event, Shunichi Tsubouchi, a 27-year-old physical education teacher. The suspect, who is currently under prosecution for violating child welfare laws, is accused of participating in the orgy in April.

The organizers adopted pseudonyms from popular films in order to evade detection, with Fukumoto going by “Falcon,” a character in “The NeverEnding Story,” while Tsubouchi used “Umizaru,” a reference to the popular coast guard series.
