TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Tuesday announced the bust of two high-end sex services based in Shibuya Ward on charges of prostitution, reports the Sankei Shimbun (July 7).
Police accused Yoshihiro Aihara, 32, the manager of Girly Tokyo and Elite Club, of dispatching females to hotels in Tokyo to provide full sex to male customers — a violation of the Anti-Prostitution Law.
Aihara has reportedly denied the allegations. “We don’t employ prostitutes,” the suspect is quoted by police. Police arrested five other employees, of which three have admitted to the allegations.
Girly Club and Elite Club specialize in college students and models. The two clubs employ a total of 70 girls (aged between 18 and 25), of whom approximately 30 have been confirmed by police to be active university students.
Charges for the services begin at 40,000 yen for the first hour. According to TV Asahi (July 7), a special three-hour session is priced at 220,000 yen.
Since May of 2013, the clubs have collected 200 million yen in revenue. The number of customers served over that period totals 3,000.
