Tomi Suzuki’s body had received stab wounds to her stomach and head area. Her husband had sustained serious stab wounds to his stomach.
Officers from the Chikusei Police Station arriving at the home confirmed Tomi Suzuki dead at the scene. Her husband was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
“I became tired of taking care of my wife so I stabbed her,” Suzuki’s husband is quoted by emergency personnel.
Police suspect that he stabbed his wife and then himself. He is expected to be arrested on murder charges once he begins his recovery.
The third daughter also lives at the residence with her husband and two children.
