SHIZUOKA (TR) – A court here has ordered actress Ryoko Hirosue to pay a fine of 700,000 yen over a car accident in Kakegawa City last year that resulted in an injury to her male passenger, reports TV Asahi (Jan. 6).
At around 6:45 p.m. on April 7 last year, a vehicle driven by Hirosue rear-ended a large truck and collided with a wall inside an outbound tunnel on the Shin-Tomei Expressway in Kakegawa.
On December 22, Hirosue was summarily indicted for negligent driving resulting in injury for injuring her male passenger in the accident.
At the time of summary indictment, Hirosue’s side commented, “If an order is issued, we plan to comply promptly.”
The next day, the Kakegawa Summary Court issued a summary order imposing a 700,000 yen fine on Hirosue.
