AV starlet Nanami Mihi reveals harrowing kidnapping and cyberstalking by ex-host boyfriend

TOKYO (TR) – Popular adult video (AV) actress Nanami Mihi is lifting the lid on a terrifying four-and-a-half-year relationship with a former host who bugged her phone, subjected her to extreme psychological torture, and ultimately kidnapped her to a remote mountain.

In a recent interview with Nikkan Spa! (Oct. 5), Mihi revealed a chilling timeline of abuse by “worthless men,” manipulation, and digital stalking that highlights the dark dangers of social media encounters.

Mihi’s very entry into the adult entertainment industry was spurred by an earlier abusive relationship.

After attempting to leave one debt-ridden boyfriend, she woke up to find herself bound to a bed with towels. Desperate for financial independence and luxury after surviving on a diet of bean sprouts and cabbage with her broke captor, she turned to the AV industry.

Cyberstalking

However, her most harrowing ordeal came from a man she met through a social media post advertising modeling work. Initially presenting himself as a respectable, suit-wearing entertainment casting agent with a car, the man hid a dark past as a host.

Six months into the relationship, his demeanor violently shifted. Using a fabricated story about past relationship trauma, he systematically isolated Mihi, forbidding her from contacting male friends and forcing her to report her daily movements for his approval.

The control quickly escalated into criminal cyberstalking. The man, who possessed IT skills, secretly installed surveillance applications on Mihi’s smartphone. The spyware allowed him to track her GPS coordinates in real time, remotely operate her device, and monitor her private life. At one point, he even planted a listening device in her belongings.

Relentless abuse

The psychological abuse was relentless. Mihi reported receiving late-night phone calls from the man repeatedly telling her to “die.” In one disturbing incident, he sent her a coded message luring her to an apartment building, where he threatened to throw himself off a balcony, screaming, “Burn the image of a man dying because of you into your eyes and live with it forever.”

The abuse reached a terrifying climax when Mihi, fearing for her safety, attempted to break up with him over the phone. Enraged, the man gave her a 30-minute ultimatum to stand outside her home at 2:00 a.m., threatening to destroy her life and reveal her secrets to her parents if she refused.

When Mihi stepped outside, she was dragged into a speeding car and taken deep into the mountains. Trapped and unable to jump from the moving vehicle, she was subjected to horrifying threats in the wilderness.

“If you won’t stay with me, I’ll get you pregnant,” the man threatened. Mihi managed to talk her way out of the situation — and avoid potentially being killed and buried in the woods — by confronting his twisted logic, asking how daily death threats and abuse equated to love.

Using spyware

To permanently sever ties, Mihi orchestrated a final trap using his own spyware against him. Knowing he was tracking her GPS, she purposely met a new male acquaintance. The enraged ex-boyfriend called Mihi’s family home to complain to her mother. However, the sheer embarrassment of his own pathetic behavior finally struck his bloated pride, causing him to back off and sever the connection for good.

Looking back on the ordeal, which she now describes as “pure horror,” Mihi noted that she recently learned the man has married someone else — bringing her a long-awaited sense of relief.

Met online

Mihi also described a separate long-distance relationship with a man from the Kansai region she had met online, who eventually confessed to carrying approximately 3 million yen in debt, accumulated partly through years of trying to meet women online and spending freely to impress them.

After she relocated to Kansai for him and moved into a vacant property owned by his family, she found herself increasingly surrounded by his relatives. His mother made unannounced visits warning of evil spirits in the house; his grandmother arrived daily under the pretense of cleaning. “The family decided they could not let me get away,” she said.

That relationship ended after the man confessed to cheating with a young woman from a maid cafe, offered a series of reasons that Mihi recounted with darkly comic disbelief, and then asked Mihi to inspect rental apartments on his behalf so he could move in with the other woman.

She said she went through with the viewings, signed paperwork, and collected keys, before the maid cafe worker broke off contact with him and he came crawling back. They reconciled briefly before splitting for good.

This was the one who wound her with towels. “That ex,” she noted, “is the one who pushed me into becoming an adult actress in the first place.”

Mihi said the collective experience has given her one firm piece of advice for other women. “Never agree to date someone until at least three months have passed,” she said. “Bad men always push for a fast commitment because the longer you wait, the more their true character shows. Hold out for at least three months, and whoever is still standing has a reasonable chance of being decent.”
