MIE (TR) – At around 11:00 p.m. on November 24, 1998, journalist Noriko Tsujide, then 24, left the Ise City office of the publisher employing her at the time. She never made it home.
Twenty-seven years later, Mie Prefectural Police are continuing their investigation, believing that she was involved in a crime.
Last month, her parents, the police and others continued to seek information from the public, reports TBS News (Nov. 27).
On November 24, Tsujide’s parents and police officers distributed flyers with information on the case at shopping centers in Ise.
“Given the Takaba case, I absolutely urge the police to do their best,” said her mother, Michiyo, in referring to the murder of Namiko Takaba in 1999, a case that was solved earlier this year.
According to the network, Mie police have received 107 tips to date. However, no useful information has yet been obtained. (That is completely not true as this article shows.)
