Man turns knife on self after fatal stabbing at Shizuoka community center

SHIZUOKA (TR) – A man fatally stabbed a male attendee of a meeting in Shizuoka City on Saturday before attempting to take his own life, police said, reports NHK (Aug. 3).

Around 7:30 p.m., the man, aged in his 50s, entered a community center in Suruga Ward where a neighborhood association board meeting was being held and stabbed the male attendee with what appeared to be a survival knife.
