Osaka police on Saturday busted Internet casino Endless in the Toganecho area
OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police on Saturday announced the raid of an illegal Internet casino in Kita Ward, reports Sports Nippon (July 27).

At around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, officers entered the sixth floor of a multi-tenant building in the Toganocho district and arrested the 27-year-old manager of casino Endless and two other employees on gambling charges.

At the time of the raid, a 45-year-old customer was found to be placing wagers on a slot game via a personal computer by utilizing points that could be converted to cash.

According to police, Endless did not post a signboard out front and utilized a heat-sensitive sensor system to monitor customers entering and exiting the premises.

The casino, which moved to its current location in February, attracts approximately 10 customers per day and generates close to nine million yen in revenue each month.

Investigators are now attempting to determine whether the gambling proceeds were being used to fund another operation.
