FUKUOKA (TR) – Officers from the Fukuoka and Aichi prefectural police on Tuesday busted a high-end nationwide chain of sex businesses on prostitution charges, reports TBS News (May 12).
Between February 2 and 27, three female employees of soapland bathhouse Grand Opera, located in the Nakasu district of Hakata Ward, are alleged to have provided sexual services in violation of the Anti-Prostitution Law to four customers.
Officers arrested the manager of Grand Opera, 44-year-old Yugo Ikuta, and five other employees. Ikuta and three other suspects have reportedly denied the allegations while the other two suspects have admitted to the charges.
For a single session at Grand Opera, fees begin at 60,000 yen for the first 110 minutes.
