On Wednesday, officers raided Hattip, located in the Koiwa district, and arrested the 58-year-old manager for providing sexual services to a male customer, 52, in violation of the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses.
Two female employees were also arrested for immigration violations. All of the suspects are Thai nationals.
According to promotional sites for the parlor, the first hour of services at the parlor is priced at 3,500 yen.
The three suspects have reportedly admitted to the allegations. “The mama instructed us to not provide sex services to police officers,” the 23-year-old suspect is quoted by police.
According to investigators, Hattip, which means “magic hand” in the Thai language, has collected 80 million yen in revenue over the past seven years.
With immigration violations on the rise, law enforcement last year created a pamphlet (written in a number of languages, including Chinese and Thai) that warns women from overseas of the consequences of employment in the fuzoku trade, which is the adult-entertainment industry.
