TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested Shuto Inomata, a member of the male idol group Timelesz, after he allegedly beat a female acquaintance inside a parked car, leaving her bleeding, reports TBS News (Sep. 19).
Shuto Inomata is accused of punching the woman, who is in her 20s, in the face multiple times inside a vehicle parked at a convenience store in Tatsumi, Koto Ward, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday, according to investigative sources.
The victim sustained a bloody nose and facial bruising in the attack.
The incident came to light after the battered woman fled the vehicle and sought help from a convenience store clerk. A bystander immediately called police, saying, “A woman came into the store bleeding and is asking us to call the cops.”

Upon his arrest on suspicion of assault, Inomata denied the allegations of intentional assault. “We got into an argument and I panicked,” he told investigators. “My hand might have accidentally struck her.”
Inomata joined the eight-member idol group in February of last year after successfully passing an audition program.
A representative for his talent agency, Starto Entertainment, declined to comment on the specifics of the arrest, stating only, “We are currently confirming the facts.”
