TOKYO (TR) – Prosecutors have decided to not indict two members of the scouting group Natural for allegedly arranging women to work in adult entertainment establishments, reports Nippon News Network (Dec. 15).
The two men, aged 33 and 28, were arrested in January of this year for arranging women in their 20s and 30s to work in adult entertainment establishments.
On Monday, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office stated that the reason for not indicting them was, “We decided not to indict after taking into consideration the relevant evidence.”
As previously reported, Natural has nearly 2,000 members nationwide, mostly aged in their 20s. The group refers women to adult entertainment (fuzoku) establishments and receives illegal referral fees known as “scout kickbacks” from the establishments. Annual revenues are estimated at 5 billion yen.
With its members communicating on a special smartphone app, police have been investigating the group as an anonymous, mobile crime group (tokuryu).
