HYOGO (TR) – Hyogo Prefectural Police have applied charges of trespassing to a 23-year-old male medical student already in custody for taking illicit photographs and found to be in possession of more than 20,000 voyeur images, reports the Sankei Shimbun (May 17).
Between October 30 and November 12, Yuma Horibe, a first-year student at Nara Medical University, trespassed into the woman’s toilet at a restaurant in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.
The arrest is the third for Horibe, who denies the trespassing charge.
Officers from the Amagaki Kita Police Station first arrested Horibe on April 21, when he was apprehended for filming inside the skirt of a woman at a train station in Amagasaki City. A subsequent search of the residence of the suspect, who was charged with violating a public nuisance ordinance, revealed approximately 3,900 videos and 16,500 still images of women on a hard disk.
On May 2, Horibe was arrested a second time for trespassing into a women’s toilet at a train station in Osaka.
