HYOGO (TR) – Hyogo Prefectural Police have arrested a male nurse for allegedly entering a public bath in Kobe to use a spy camera to film male customers, reports the Sankei Shimbun (April 30).

At approximately 10:55 a.m. on Friday, the nurse, 48, entered the sento, a multi-bath business located in Tarumi Ward, with a camera mounted inside the frame of his glasses.

After observing the suspect on the premises, a male employee at the bath alerted officers from the Tarumi Police Station. The glasses were equipped with a USB memory card to store the videos.

The suspect, who has been charged with trespassing, admits to the allegations. “I wanted to film nude men,” he is quoted by police.

Police are now seeking to apply public nuisance violations to the man regarding the taking of tosatsu, or voyeur, images.
