FUKUOKA (TR) – Police in Iizuka City have arrested a 26-year-old unemployed man accused of trespassing into a women’s changing room at a public swimming pool while disguised as a woman, reports Fukuoka TNC News (Aug. 3).
According to the Iizuka Police Station, the incident occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Sunday at the Kenko-no-Mori Park public pool. A middle school girl using the women’s changing room noticed a suspicious individual who appeared to be secretly filming with a smartphone.
When the girl called out to the suspect, he immediately bolted from the building. A pool lifeguard gave chase, pursuing the man for about 300 meters before pinning him to the ground.
At the time of his capture, the local man was completely dressed in drag. Police say he was wearing a white patterned t-shirt, a long yellow skirt, a shoulder-length wig, and a hat. He had also applied makeup to his face and was wearing a sanitary mask.
Upon his arrest for suspected trespassing, the man admitted to the allegations. “There is no mistake that I entered the building,” he told investigators.
Police are currently analyzing the suspect’s smartphone to determine if he was capturing illicit footage inside the changing room.
