TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 45-year-old food delivery driver from Uzbekistan for allegedly committing indecent acts against an elementary school girl when she answered the door to receive a meal, reports TBS News (Sep. 25).
Muminov Dilshod Komiljonovich is accused of non-consensual indecency over the incident, which took place at an apartment building in Setagaya Ward at around 5:00 p.m. on July 5.
Upon his arrest, the suspect fully admitted to the allegations.
“The girl who answered the door was my type, so I couldn’t control my feelings,” Komiljonovich told investigators.
According to police, the young girl was staying home alone at the time of the incident. When she went to the front entrance to collect a food delivery ordered by her family, Komiljonovich allegedly lunged at her suddenly, embracing her, kissing her face, and groping her over her clothes.
