Popular hostess and influencer accused of possessing cocaine in Roppongi apartment

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a female hostess club employee who appears in YouTube programs under the name “Yamato Rino” for possessing cocaine at her apartment in Minato Ward.

According to investigative sources, Rino Tazawa, 27, and her boyfriend, Kota Fukumoto, 28, a company executive, allegedly possessed 0.4 grams of cocaine at their apartment in Roppongi shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Under questioning on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act, Tazawa admitted to the allegations. “The cocaine found at the apartment belonged to both of us; we used it together,” she said. However, Fukumoto denied the charge. “It does not belong to me,” he said.
