Pakistani executive arrested over sexual assault of boy under 10

TOYAMA (TR) – Toyama Prefectural Police have arrested a 61-year-old Pakistani national and company executive on suspicion of sexually assaulting a male relative under the age of 10 in Imizu City, reports the Chunichi Shimbun (Oct. 8).

According to police, the unnamed suspect allegedly committed the acts of non-consensual sexual intercourse against the young boy, who lives in a separate residence, between March 6 and March 11 of this year.

The alleged abuse came to light on March 17 after the boy’s mother consulted with authorities and filed a damage report. Following an investigation, the man was taken into custody on October 8.

During questioning, the suspect firmly denied the allegations, telling investigators, “I did not do such a thing.”

Police are continuing to investigate the detailed circumstances leading up to the alleged assaults.
