OKINAWA (TR) – Okinawa Prefectural Police have arrested the former manager of a McDonald’s store in Okinawa City over the alleged sexual abuse of two preschool girls in the outlet’s restroom, reports TBS News (Feb. 7).
Last November, Kohei Yamaguchi is suspected of touching the lower body of one of two preschool girls in the restroom of the Noborigawa outlet where he served as a manager. He also filmed an obscene video of the two girls.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of non-consensual sexual acts and violating the Child Prostitution and Child Pornography Prohibition Act, Yamaguchi admitted to the allegations.
The arrest is the second for Yamaguchi. On January 18, he allegedly touched the lower body of another preschool girl in the men’s restroom while on duty. A subsequent investigation by revealed obscene videos of the first two victims.
When asked for comment, McDonald’s Japan responded, “We are currently confirming the facts with the local authorities.”
Police are continuing their investigation, including into whether the suspect committed any other crimes.
