TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have released a 29-year-old man who was arrested for allegedly filming a naked woman at her home in Suginami Ward, reports TV Asahi (Aug. 3).
The unnamed suspect was taken into custody last month on suspicion of voyeurism.
According to police, the man slipped a small camera into the front door mail slot of a residence occupied by a woman in her 30s to secretly record her without clothes.
Authorities officially released the man from custody on July 31.
Police will now continue their investigation into the incident on a voluntary basis while the suspect remains out of custody.
