CHIBA (TR) – The body of a just-born baby was found at Tokyo Disneyland in a wastewater treatment facility, police said on Thursday.
A facility worker found the palm-size body caught on filtration equipment at the facility at around 1 p.m. in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, Nippon News Network reports (Mar. 16).
The facility, used exclusively by Tokyo Disneyland, was locked, and there were no signs of forced entry from the outside.
Police believe someone gave birth to the baby straight into a toilet on park grounds, and plans to perform an autopsy and confirm the cause of death and identity.
