TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police launched an investigation following the discovery of the head of a baby and other body parts in a refrigerator at an adult entertainment parlor in Sumida Ward on Saturday, reports Fuji News Network (Dec. 7).
At around 9:00 p.m., an employee at the fuzuoku (commercial sex) adult entertainment parlor in Kotobashi called police to report that they were cleaning the refrigerator and found what appeared to be a child’s head.
According to police, the head of the baby, approximately a few months old and whose gender is unknown, was wrapped in a plastic bag. The baby’s arms and legs were also found in airtight containers.
The body appears to have been dismembered and was placed frozen in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator.
The refrigerator was shared by the store’s employees.
The torso has not been found. Police are investigating the case as a case of corpse mutilation and abandonment.
The parlor is located about 200 meters from JR Kinshicho Station.
