TOKYO (TR) – As a part of its ongoing sweep of massage parlors in entertainment areas that began last month, Tokyo Metrpolitan Police on Monday announced the arrest of two suspects on suspicion of providing sexual services, reports Fuji Network News (Mar. 11).
Officers took Rie Sakurai, the 22-year-old manager of parlor Love and Respect, which is located in the Kanda district of Chiyoda Ward, and employee Yukiyo Toyosato, 37, into custody for supplying sexual services to customers in private rooms in violation of the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses regarding location of operation.
Since February, police have busted nine parlors and made 14 arrests in the Kanda and Akihabara areas.
Sakurai has reportedly denied the allegations.
According to promotional Web sites, the parlor features Chinese masseuses with rates that begin at 9,000 yen for the first 70 minutes.
