TOKYO (TR) – The management agency for 25-year-old adult video (AV) actress and television personality Hana Kuraki announced her sudden death on Monday, expressing deep sorrow and anger over the disturbing circumstances leading up to her passing.
T-Powers, Kuraki’s talent agency, released a statement on its official website on Monday following days of dark rumors circulating on X. Speculation regarding the actress’s well-being and her troubled interactions with “specific individuals” had been rampant online since around September 12.
Acknowledging the online speculation, the agency stated it is taking the unverified information very seriously.
“Thinking about how deeply hurt and suffering she was during her life is heartbreaking, and at the same time, we feel a strong anger regarding this series of actions,” the agency said in its statement, heavily implying Kuraki had been the victim of severe distress or harassment prior to her death.

T-Powers added that it is carefully grasping the situation and will coordinate with relevant authorities to take appropriate action. The agency noted it will carefully consider whether to release further details regarding her death or specific individuals involved, citing the need to prioritize the dignity of the deceased and the privacy of her bereaved family.
Earlier on Monday, reporters contacted T-Powers to inquire about Kuraki’s safety amid the swirling online rumors. The agency initially replied that they were “confirming the facts.” The official announcement of her death came approximately five hours later.
Following her debut for label S1 in 2024, Kuraki made a name fore herself in the AV industry. She also entered the mainstream media, having appeared in a January New Year’s variety special broadcast on ABEMA and TV Asahi.
