All told, police found a total of 400 grams of cultivated marijuana, which has a street value of 2 million yen.

Police believe that a tent and LED lights also found inside were used to cultivate marijuana. They also seized weighing scales, storage canisters and a bong.

Akiyama’s involvement came to light after evidence was found that he had purchased marijuana seeds online.
