TOKYO (TR) – In its typically sensational style, adult satellite channel Paradise TV will later this month feature a breast-squeezing booth during the 11th incarnation of its two-day AIDS fund drive “24-Hour TV: Eroticism Saves the Earth.”

On August 24 and 25, the channel, which specializes in wacky porn programming, will welcome subscribers to its studios, located in Shinjuku Ward, to participate in various erotic events with AV (adult video) actresses annual fund drive to raise money and awareness to assist in reducing the spread of AIDS.

The chance for subscribers to squeeze the bare breasts of AV starlets is usually the drive’s centerpiece, and this year six girls — evenly divided into teams deemed “shapely” and “large” — will bare their chests for a suggested minimum contribution of 1,000 yen.

“For guys who like them big, rub them as you wish,” said 26-year-old Saki Mizumi (@saki_mizumi), who checks in with an 88-centimeter chest.

As well, porn starlets Kaede Ohshiro (@ohshirokaede) and Chiharu Nakai (@nakai_chiharu) will seek out extraterrestrial life by offering phone sex sessions to anyone listening in outer space.

Though it might require considerable imagination, there is a serious point to be addressed: AIDS continues to be a problem in Japan.

Earlier this year, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare reported that last year the number of new AIDS cases reached 447, the second highest figure since 1984, when the government first began compiling data. Meanwhile, 1,002 people were diagnosed with HIV, a drop from 2012 but still the sixth highest figure on record.

Experts say that proper condom usage is a key to reducing the spread of HIV, the virus that leads to AIDS, and over the last decade and a half, the general trend of reported HIV infections and AIDS cases in Japan has been that of a steady increase.

Donations to “Eroticism Saves the Earth” average just roughly two million yen each year, and are earmarked for the Japan Foundation for AIDS Prevention.

Note: “Eroticism Saves the Earth” starts at 7:00 p.m. on August 24 and continues until 8:00 p.m. on August 25.
