Prognostication during fornication strains the imagination

March 31, 2009

NiigataYou’ve probably heard of crystal balls, but this is ridiculous.

“In Niigata there’s a woman who tells your fortune while she’s having sex with you.”

Oh come on, sighs Nikkan Gendai (Mar. 31), this time you’ve gotta be kidding, right?

Trust me, insists writer Kazuo Kajiyama. There’s actually a one-week wait for her services.

The attractive and slender 40-year-old woman, called “Nagiko” (a pseudonym), is said to perform her pervy prognostication from a house on the outskirts of Niigata City.

Upon arrival, Kajiyama was first requested to shower. The room where the sexy séance is performed smelled of an exotic floral scent. Read more

Lexicon guide for browsing a Japanese adult site

March 30, 2009

Flash June 3Riddled with puns, obscure language, and tongue-in-cheek phrases, the typical Japanese adult site can be challenging for even the most astute reader of the language. However, this week The Tokyo Reporter has stumbled upon an article inside an back issue of Flash (Jun. 3, 2008), which provides a quick-and-dirty guide to the adult lexicon.

Chikuchira — short for chikubi chirari (glimpse of nipples). Photos of dressed women that reveal parts of their breasts. Related to panchira (photos revealing panties). Nipple is sometimes playfully written out as chiku-B (district B) or B-chiku (B storage). (Also see Ooguro.)

Esu Efu (SF) — further abbreviated from sefure (sex friend), it means a physical relationship without any particular affection.

Fue — literally flute, a reference to fellatio (which itself is often shortened to fera). Somewhat archaic but still in use are “Ferrari” and shaku (referring to shakuhachi, a Japanese bamboo flute). Read more

‘Coma’ bars targeting Caucasians in Roppongi

March 28, 2009

Roppongi at nightOn March 17, the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo issued a warning that “recommended that the embassy community avoid frequenting Roppongi bars and clubs in Tokyo due to a significant increase in reported drink-spiking incidents.” It went on to say that credit cards had been subsequently stolen or abused and suggested that American citizens might want to avoid drinking spots in the bustling nightlife area altogether. Nikkan Gendai (Mar. 27) reports from Roppongi and discovers that konsui, coma or deep sleep, bars are beginning to put Caucasians in their cross hairs.

“The easy targets are business elites, U.S. servicemen, and tourists who come to Roppongi to hit on girls,” relates “pink” journalist Yasuhiro Ebina. “A guy will be drinking at a particular shot bar. Then up comes a lady who will ask, ‘Why don’t we go to another place and have drink?’ The woman will usually be a Chinese national or from South America and capable of speaking English.” Read more

Frisky female soldier goes AV-WOL

March 23, 2009

Friday, April 3The young woman in question, name not given, is 22 years old. Until earlier this month she apparently belonged to a communications detachment in the Japan Ground Self Defense Force assigned to a military facility in northeast Japan.

But that was before March 9, when she appeared in an adult video atop a futon, dressed to appear like a schoolgirl in a miniskirt and loose socks. The video was distributed via an adult pay site on the Internet.

It appears to have been shot around January.

“Actually this was not her first AV,” a source in the video industry tells Friday (Mar. 26). “She’d appeared under different names in at least five previous AVs.

“She nonchalantly discussed training activities in her otherwise all-male unit, which included ‘crawling on her stomach with a wireless transceiver on her back.’ Her male counterpart in one of the films said the muscle tone in her legs and rump was quite a bit firmer than ordinary AV actresses,” he adds. Amour’s sexy selections are short on details but long on lust

March 22, 2009

Shukan Bunshun Mar. 26“The guy I was going with before I got married loved to get it on,” the female writer confesses in “Amour Ura Joho” (inside stories about love), from the March issue of the woman’s monthly comic magazine Amour.

“At the time, I felt he just saw me as another of his conquests. But now I don’t do it much and I regret our splitting up.

“All I have left to remember him by is a vibrator he bought for me that time in the love hotel,” she sighs wistfully.

Yes indeed, ladies’ lurid tales can be real lulus, as Shukan Bunshun (Mar. 26) relates. Take this one, also from Amour (March):

“I work in the office at a cram school, and got it on with one of the students, 15 years my junior. Naturally it was his first time. The way he grunts when I suck him off is so cute. He cums quickly, but he can make it five or six times. Young guys are great!” Read more

Clampdown on boys behind bars in Kabukicho

March 21, 2009

Kabukicho building frontThe bust earlier this month of “boy’s bar” Junk #9 Powers in Tokyo’s red-light district of Kabukicho is an example of the ambiguity and ongoing evolution within adult businesses in Japan, reports Nikkan Gendai (Mar. 7 and 14).

A boy’s bar is the inverse of a “girl’s bar,” where multiple women chat and serve drinks to men from behind a long counter. The setup is a means of exploiting the Law Regulating Adult Entertainment Businesses, which views service across such a non-visible barrier to not be entertainment and legal in the wee hours. In other words, boy’s and girl’s bars are masquerading as run-of-the-mill drinking establishments.

For Junk #9 Powers, which received between 50 to 60 patrons each day and accumulated 4.8 million yen in receipts monthly, the violation occurred due to guys chatting with ladies at tables in the early morning, a violation of the adult business law that requires such “entertainment” to cease at 1 a.m. Indeed, girl’s bars have been under similar scrutiny. Impersonal hole in the wall serves up Showa-style sex on a shoestring

March 20, 2009

Shukan Asahi Geino Mar. 26Imagine some brave new world in which your sex life is reduced to an activity that resembles what happens when a cow is connected to a milking machine.

Shukan Asahi Geino (Mar. 26) reports that Shinjuku’s Kabukicho entertainment zone still features one of these old-fashioned budget sex shops harking back to the Showa Era, which ran from December 1926 to January 7, 1989.

The appeal of this particular shop, named “Pastel,” is a “Magic Hole,” basically a waist-height aperture in the center of a two-way mirror. Male customers enter the cubicle, unzip and flop out. Visible behind the mirror is a young woman clad in a nurse’s uniform, who cannot see the customer from the waist up. Read more
