KANAGAWA (TR) – Kanagawa Prefectural Police on Monday busted a slot parlor operating illegally in Yokohama, reports Nippon News Network (Oct. 6).

At around 7:00 a.m., officers raided Bomber, located in Chuo Ward, and arrested Kentaro Amada, the 25-year-old manager, and two other male employees for providing customers with the use of high-return pachisuro (pachinko slot) machines deemed illegal under the law.

Police also arrested four male customers inside the premises and seized 50 machines.

In order to prevent a bust by law enforcement, Bomber included a security camera to monitor customers entering and exiting the premises. The parlor also operated under a policy that necessitated new customers be introduced by an existing patron.

Since opening in August, the establishment collected around 20 million yen in revenue, according to TV Asahi (Oct. 17).
