UNITED STATES (TR) – Police in the state of Georgia have arrested a 35-year-old Japanese man for the murder of a woman in the city of Brunswick, reports TBS News (May 4).
On Sunday, police visited the residence of Naomi Acres, 65, as a part of a welfare check and found her body.
A subsequent investigation revealed that Tokimasa Ohgo, a resident of Yokohama, had recently visited the home of the woman. It was also learned that her car, a 2008 Prius, had also been stolen.
After police issued a bulletin about the vehicle, Ohgo was apprehended in Brunswick and charged with aggravated assault, murder and theft, according to News4Jax.com (May 4).
