OSAKA (TR) – The Sakai City Board of Education on Tuesday announced the 6-month suspension of a 29-year-old male teacher for exposing his lower body after a night of drinking in Osaka City last year.

According to the board of education, the teacher stated that he has “no memory of what happened” that night, reports ABC News (Mar. 17).

The teacher, who works at a municipal middle school in Sakai City, exposed his lower body on a street in Abeno Ward at around 11 p.m. on January 20.

He also chased several passersby while hurling insults at them.

Just before, the teacher and a former colleague from his previous school visited three izakaya restaurants, where they each drank a total of 10 beers over about five hours.

The incident occurred after the teacher parted ways with the former colleague. The teacher later woke up in a hotel in Abeno Ward and returned home early that morning.
