TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly committing indecent acts on a female customer at the relaxation salon he runs under the guise of treatment, reports Nippon News Network (Dec. 11).
According to police, Satoshi Yoshioka, 30, is suspected of committing indecent acts on the woman, aged in her 20s, at salon Welldom in Kita Ward in October.
When questioned by police, Yoshioka denied the charges. He said, “I have no recollection [of the matter].”
Yoshioka is alleged to have asked the woman visiting the salon, “Is it okay if I touch your groin to reduce swelling?” He then touched her lower body under the guise of treatment.
Yoshioka had already been arrested last month for sexually assaulting another female customer.
Additionally, police are investigating several online posts from persons claiming to have been similarly assaulted at the same salon.
