TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 21-year-old male office worker who is suspected of repeatedly exposing his lower body at apartment buildings in the northern part of the capital, reports TBS News (Feb. 5).
According to police, Riku Tsukiji is suspected of exposing his lower body and engaging in lewd acts around 10:30 p.m. on the grounds of an apartment building in Bunkyo Ward last November.
During questioning on suspicion of indecent exposure, Tsukiji denied the charges, saying, “I don’t remember. I didn’t do it.”
Tsukiji is also suspected of exposing his lower body and engaging in lewd acts around 4 p.m. on January 14 on the grounds of an apartment building near his home in Kita Ward.
Since around May of last year, police have received more than a dozen reports of suspicious persons exposing their lower bodies in Bunkyo and Kita wards. Police are investigating whether Tsukiji was behind those cases.
