TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly forcing a middle school girl in the Kabukicho red-light district into prostitution last year, reports Fuji News Network (May 15).
Last July, Shota Inoue, a 24-year-old unemployed resident of Arakawa Ward, allegedly forced the girl to service men at hotels in the district in relationships based on papakatsu, which is compensated dating.
“Let’s live together,” he said. “You can earn money by doing papakatsu.”
Inoue has reportedly largely admitted to the charges during questioning, police said.

The girl belongs to the group known as “Toyoko Kids,” who are runaways and delinquents.
One of her clients was Akira Awazu, a 51-year-old former president of an entertainment-related company, who has already been arrested and indicted for filming lewd acts and selling them as adult videos.
Inoue, known as “Inocchi,” arranged for the girl to engage in about 40 papakatsu relationships each week, receiving approximately 200,000 yen.
