SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police have arrested a male teacher in Kawaguchi City who is suspected of secretly filming nude and underwear-clad male students last year, reports TBS News (Feb. 12).
In June, Yuki Nakahata, a 32-year-old high school teacher is alleged to have taken tosatsu (voyeur) footage of 12 nude and underwear-clad male students with his smartphone on the grounds of the public high school where he works.
“Out of sexual interest, I secretly filmed male students with my smartphone and saved the images on the USB,” Nakahata told police in commenting on violations of the Child Prostitution and Child Pornography Prohibition Act and the Law Banning the Taking of Sexually Explicit Photographs.
Nakahata presides over a sports club. According to police, a USB possessed by Nakahata contained images of the male students nude and in their underwear after they had bathed, apparently taken in the bathroom and changing room of the club’s training camp.
Police also revealed that several other obscene videos and still images believed to have been taken at other locations have been found.
The investigation is continuing, with police suspecting Nakahata may have committed additional crimes.
