SAITAMA (TR) – Saitama Prefectural Police have arrested a prefectural high school teacher for allegedly filming a former student naked on dozens of occasions, reports Nippon News Network (Sep. 28).
Ryota Mogi is accused of secretly recording the victim, a woman in her 20s, a total of 57 times at his home between January and March of this year.
According to investigators, the victim is a former student from a school where Mogi previously taught. The two reportedly reconnected after she graduated, with Mogi inviting the woman to his residence where the tosatsu (illicit) filming took place.
During police questioning, Mogi has exercised his right to remain silent.
The teacher is already facing serious legal trouble in a separate case. Police noted that Mogi has previously been arrested and indicted on charges of sexually assaulting another former female student.
