CHIBA (TR) – Police are questioning a man after his younger brother was found fatally stabbed inside an apartment in Noda City on Wednesday, reports TBS News (July 9).
At approximately 3:20 p.m., emergency services received a call from an apartment in the Yamazaki area. The caller stated, “My younger brother has been stabbed.”
Officers rushing to the scene discovered a man in his 50s, believed to be the resident of the apartment, collapsed on the floor and bleeding from a wound to his left abdomen.
The victim was immediately transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead approximately two hours later.
Investigators recovered a blood-stained blade from the scene. Officers are currently questioning the man found inside the apartment, who claims to be the victim’s older brother, to unravel the circumstances behind the fatal incident.
