HYOGO (TR) – Police have launched a murder investigation after two women were found stabbed to death inside a residence in Tatsuno City on Tuesday morning, reports Nippon News Network (May 19).
According to police and fire department officials, officers arrived at the home in the Shingucho area at around 10:30 a.m. to conduct a welfare check. Upon arriving, they made a grisly discovery, finding two bleeding victims collapsed in the entryway of the house.
The women, believed to be in their 50s and 70s, were completely unresponsive when emergency responders arrived. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators confirmed that both victims bore wounds consistent with being stabbed by a bladed weapon. Police are now treating the case as a double homicide and are actively hunting for the killer.
