MIYAGI (TR) – Miyagi Prefectural Police launched an investigation after the body of a newborn was found outside a child care center in Natori City on Thursday, reports TV Asahi (Dec. 18).
Around 7:00 a.m., a passerby reported the discovery in the parking lot of Natori Certified Child Care Center.
The body was unclothed. The newborn believed to have been dead for several days.
Police are working quickly to identify the body. The case is being treated as abandoning a corpse.
