TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly groping a woman in Koto Ward last month, reports Nippon News Network (Mar. 26).
Last month, Kotaro Kajita is suspected of committing indecent acts, including touching the lower body of the woman, aged woman in her 30s, on a street.
Upon his arrest, Kajita admitted to the allegations, police said.
According to police, the the suspect and the woman were not acquainted before the incident, police said.
At some point before, Kajita spotted the woman shopping. He then followed her for about 10 minutes after she entered a store and committed the indecent act.
Afterward, the suspect fled. However, he was his involvement came to light through an examination of security camera footage and other meanws.
