Man arrested after visiting Kochi convenience store completely naked

KOCHI (TR) – Police in Kochi City have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of public indecency after he casually strolled into a local convenience store wearing absolutely nothing, reports Fuji News Network (July 22).

At 3:49 a.m. on July 22, a stunned convenience store clerk called emergency services to report that a “completely naked man came into the store and then left.”

As responding police officers were inside the store reviewing security camera footage of the bizarre incident, the suspect suddenly reappeared in the parking lot at around 4:00 a.m. Officers immediately placed him under arrest on the spot.

The suspect, a self-proclaimed unemployed resident of Kochi City, admitted to the allegations upon his arrest.

“There is no mistake that I was naked and exposed my genitals,” the man told investigators. However, when pressed for a motive, he could only offer, “I cannot clearly explain it right now.”

According to police, there is no indication that the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident.
