KYOTO (TR) – Police in Kyoto City have re-arrested a 30-year-old municipal high school teacher for allegedly using a tablet device to take tosatsu (illicit) videos under the skirts of female students at his workplace, reports the Sankei Shimbun (Aug. 17).
Yuki Kuwano, a resident of Shimogyo Ward, was served a fresh arrest warrant on Monday by the Yamashina Police Station on suspicion of violating the Law Banning the Taking of Sexually Explicit Photographs.
“There is no doubt I secretly filmed under the skirts of female students,” Kuwano told investigators, fully admitting to the allegations.
The latest arrest stems from an incident on July 23. While on the grounds of the Kyoto City high school where he worked, Kuwano allegedly slipped a tablet device under a female’s skirt and captured video footage of her underwear.
According to police, a search of the suspect’s smartphone and other devices yielded approximately 15 videos believed to have been taken inside the school since July of last year.
During questioning, Kuwano revealed the extent of his actions, telling police, “I wanted to look up the skirts of female students. Since last autumn, I filmed up their skirts about 20 to 30 times.”
The teacher was previously arrested on the 7th of this month for allegedly filming up the skirt of a 16-year-old high school girl aboard a train.
