HYOGO (TR) – A 14-year-old girl plunged to hear death from an apartment building in Akashi City on Saturday in an apparent suicide, police said.
At around 6:10 p.m., a passerby called police from Shimizu, Uozumicho to reporting that someone had fallen from the building, reports the Kobe Shimbun (Nov. 16).
According to the Akashi Police Station, the girl, a second-year middle school student, was found collapsed on the premises and later confirmed dead at a hospital.
On the 11th floor, the top of the building, police found a note in a bag that is believed to belong to the girl. It read, “No one is on my side.”
The station is continuing the investigation, believing that she may have jumped from that floor.
