TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested two women and re-arrested two men for allegedly broadcasting indecent acts from a hotel in Shinjuku Ward, raking in tens of thousands of yen per hour, reports Nippon News Network (July 1).
According to police, suspects Mao Mizuno and Naka Namioka were newly arrested on suspicion of public indecency.
The two women are accused of live-streaming indecent acts to unspecified viewers from a Shinjuku hotel room in April and May of this year using the overseas broadcasting platform Stripchat.

Police also re-arrested Shinya Shinkawa and Shosei Tomizuka for allegedly conspiring with the women to produce the streams.
During police questioning, Namioka partially denied the allegations. The remaining three suspects have admitted to the charges.
The two men had previously been taken into custody for operating similar broadcasts on different occasions.
Investigators believe the operation was highly lucrative, with the four suspects pulling in approximately 100,000 yen in sales from just a single one-hour broadcast.
