KAGAWA (TR) – Police in Takamatsu City have served a fresh arrest warrant on a 34-year-old Filipino English teacher for allegedly committing an indecent act against a female middle school student, reports Setonaikai TV (Aug. 5).
The suspect, a former Assistant Language Teacher (ALT), is accused of groping the girl’s breasts over her clothes during a one-on-one English speaking test at the prefectural Takamatsu Kita Junior High School in November 2025, according to police.
On July 26, the man was previously taken into custody for allegedly committing a similar indecent assault against a different female student. He was re-arrested on non-consensual indecency charges on August 5 in connection to the second victim.
During police questioning, the suspect withheld his plea, telling investigators, “No comment.”
Police are continuing their investigation, acting on the belief that multiple other female students may have been subjected to similar abuse by the instructor.
