TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police used a DNA analysis to arrest a man, 48, over the molestation of a male elementary school student in Edogawa Ward last month, reports Fuji News Network (Dec. 16).
At around 6:30 p.m. on November 20, Yuji Otaka, a temporary worker living in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, allegedly molested the lower body of the boy, 11, inside a parking lot.
“I like boys,” the suspect was quoted. “I thought that children would not oppose my advances.”
In luring the boy to the parking lot, the suspect called out to him, asking if would shield him as he urinated.
Otaka surfaced as a person of interest after a DNA analysis of evidence left behind at the scene.
