TOKYO (TR) – Following a bag-snatching incident in Shibuya Ward, police are seeking the help of the public in locating a man suspected in the crime, reports TBS News (Nov. 21).

On Monday, Tokyo Metropolitan Police released a video clip showing the suspect, who is sought in connection with the theft of a plastic bag containing around 66,000 yen from a man, 63, in the Jinnan area in September.

The suspect approached the victim from behind as he walked on a street after departing a payout shop for a pachinko parlor.

In the clip, the man, with black hair, is seen wearing a blue shirt and glasses. Standing approximately 180 centimeters in height, he is believed to be in his 20s.
